Two training courses for workers in community protection and monitoring of IDPs

CSSW conducted two training courses for 25 male and female trainees including specialists and field researchers in community protection, monitoring and assessment of displaced people (IDPs).

During the sessions, a number of training and applied programs presented in needs study and gaps filling of IDPs in coordination with humanitarian partners.

A source in the Society indicated that the two sessions contributed to improving the efficiency of staff in monitoring and documenting humanitarian cases in accordance with international and national standards to facilitate access to aid.

The source pointed out that the protection services include six main activities: provision of assistance to people forced to leave their homes because of the war, provision of legal support services, provision of psychosocial support services, formation of community protection networks, human rights awareness, as well as the creation of safe environments for women.
