Director of Qatar Charity Office in Yemen : " 153 million orphans in the world , mostly in the Arab and Muslim world"

Qatar Charity Foundation ( Yemen Office ) had launched events of " World Orphan Day - Arab " festival in the capital Sana`a, sponsored by Mr. Mohammed Salem Basendwah, Prime Minister, .These events aimed to give thousands of orphans targeted experiences , skills and patterns of knowledge , as well as what is hoped development of talent and creativity.
At the festival, Mr. Ali Alamrani, Information Minister, confirmed in his speech on behalf of the Prime Minister that the need to care about the orphans and work on public policies for care them by modern scientific methods. Also, He praised the efforts by Qatar Charity to care the orphans and support and said "On behalf of the Prime Minister and National Reconciliation Government Many thanks to Qatar Charity for support and care provided to the orphans."
Furthermore, Mr. Mohammed Wahi, Director of Qatar Charity- Yemen Office, noted to the importance of caring for orphans and the status of Orphan and exceeded the meaning of Orphan not limited to aspects of food, but also embrace and education and attention to his health and prepared psychologically and educationally to face the future and life difficulties. Also, he pointed out that the plan of Qatar Charity in Yemen include increasing the number of sponsored orphans to 20 thousand guaranteed orphans during the next three years (almost 100% increasing ) and building of social care houses and training and rehabilitation buildings which will be done within a month to create Doha Institute for orphans in Hajjah government as well as mobilizing necessary support for establishment and operation of Qatar development Center for orphans in the south.
For his part, Mr. Yahya Addaba, CSSW Assistant General Secretary, praised this good step to care orphans in Yemen and the various events which aims to introduce orphans issues and develop their abilities and skills in order to build this nation.
